Leaders

President

The President shall:

  1. Have the power to establish and maintain operational procedures of the ministry.
  2. Call and preside at all sessions of the regular and additional meetings.
  3. Call and preside at meetings of the Executive Board.
  4. Answer for all actions of the other officers.
  5. Represent the ministry at functions/meetings the ministry has been invited to.
  6. Be able to vote in all decisions affecting the ministry.
  7. Act as a spokesperson for the ministry where necessary.
  8. Approve all routine expenditures and bring other expenditures to the Executive Board for approval.
  9. Delegate power to the vice-president.

vice president

The Vice President shall:

  1. Serve in the president’s place in case of absence.
  2. Lead, guide, direct, and evaluate the work of other officers, and ensure a healthy environment for productivity.
  3. Evaluate the success of the ministry in achieving its goals and formulating plans to correct any issues for effectiveness.
  4. Manage the daily operations of the ministry and ensure its continual growth.
  5. Be aware of any opportunities the ministry can leverage and pursue.
  6. Serve as the Chairman of the local organizing committee (LOC) for events organized.
  7. Weekly departmental report to the president.

secretary & vice

The Secretaries shall:

Patience

  1. Keep an accurate and detailed record of all proceedings of the regular and the Executive Board meetings.
  2. Keep a record of all correspondence as necessary for the operation of the ministry.
  3. Prepare the agenda for meetings of the ministry in consultation with the president.
  4. Coordinate with other ministries/organizations.
  5. Carry out the disciplinary actions to the officer in question.
  6. Be the third-in-command; chair meetings in the absence of the president and vice president.

Octavia

  1. Maintain the membership list.
  2. Collect and circulate any relevant information/announcement within the groups.
  3. Coordinate the preparation and distribution of the ministry’s flyers, booklets, etc.
  4. Be the fourth-in-command; chair meetings in the absence of the president, vice president, and secretary.
  5. In the absence of the secretary, the vice keeps an accurate and detailed record of all proceedings of the regular and the Executive Board meetings.

Treasurer & Vice

The Treasurers shall:

  1. Supervise the financial affairs of the ministry.
  2. Keep proper accounts that show all monies collected and paid out by the ministry.
  3. Receive and distribute funds upon the authorization of the president and/or the Executive Board.
  4. Present regular reports on the ministry’s financial position at all regular and Executive Board meetings.
  5. Coordinate all fund-raising activities of the ministry.
  6. Ensure that appropriate financial systems and controls are in place.
  7. Prepare and present budgets for new or ongoing work.
  8. Ensure everyone handling money keeps proper records and documentation.
  9. Collect dues and give a monthly update.

Prayer Coordinators

The Prayer Coordinators shall:

Division 1

  1. Coordinate and facilitate all the prayer meetings.
  2. Ensure that people leading prayers are on time (5 mins before prayer time) and follow the prayer format.
  3. Identify and bring on board a variety of prayer tactics and best practices to consider.
  4. Delegate responsibilities to team members.
  5. Request and distribute prayer request to the prayer team.
  6. Ensure confidentiality and check-up on the prayer requests.
  7. Follow-up and encourage the people who keep to their prayer assignment.
  8. Plan and organize special prayer events, trainings, webinars, etc for the ministry.
  9. Weekly report to the vice president.

Division 2

  1. Send prayer reminders – both morning and Saturday prayers to the WhatsApp platform.
  2. Assist zone leaders in addressing needs or problems arising in their zones.
  3. Communicate with the prayer zone leaders to pass on relevant information or activities to their various zones.
  4. Checking up on zone leaders for weekly regular updates.
  5. Help prayer zones grow and maintain the membership.
  6. Help open more prayer zones.
  7. Weekly report to the vice president.

Prayer zone leaders

The prayer zone leaders shall:

  1. Organize and supervise meetings in their respective zones.
  2.  Account to the prayer coordinator on progress and activities in their zones every week.
  3. Keep all their membership list current to pass on to the next zone leader.
  4. Identify needs or problems in their zone and discuss with the prayer coordinator on ways to address them.
  5. Ensure that the zone understands the vision and mission of the ministry.
  6. Report any member from the zone who violates the rules and regulations of the zone and the ministry.
  7. Regular check-up on members in their zones.

Music Coordinators

The Music Coordinators shall:

Division 1

  1. Plan and schedule all ministrations of the music department.
  2. Select and/or approve song selections for ministrations during programs.
  3. Ensure that the choir put in their best.
  4. Be responsible for all the administrative details of the group.
  5. Ensure that people leading music are on time (5 mins before) and follow the prescribed format.
  6. Identify and bring on board a variety of tactics and best practices to consider.
  7. Lead the rehearsals and ministrations or appoint someone to do so.
  8. Plan and organize special musical events for the ministry.
  9. Weekly report to the vice president.

Division 2

  1. Communicate with the group leaders to pass on relevant information or activities to their various groups.
  2. Checking up on group leaders for weekly regular updates.
  3. Help music groups grow and maintain the membership.
  4. Assist group leaders in addressing needs or problems arising in their groups.
  5. Ensure that people leading music are on time (5 mins before) and follow the prescribed format.
  6. Help open more music groups.
  7. Weekly report to the vice president.

Music Group leaders

The music group leaders shall:

  1. Organize and supervise meetings in their respective groups.
  2.  Account to the music coordinator on progress and activities in their group every week.
  3. Keep all their membership list current to pass on to the next group leader.
  4. Identify needs or problems in their group and discuss with the music coordinator on ways to address them.
  5. Ensure that the group understands the vision and mission of the ministry.
  6. Report any member from the group who violates the rules and regulations of the group and the ministry.
  7. Regular check-up on members in their groups.

Publicity / Media Coordinator

The Publicity / Media Coordinator shall:

  1. Coordinate and facilitate all the ministry’s social media profile and presence.
  2. Communicate with the department leaders to pass on relevant information or activities to their various departments.
  3. Checking up on department leaders for weekly regular updates.
  4. Help departments grow and maintain the membership.
  5. Assist department leaders in addressing needs or problems arising.
  6. Plan and organize special events, trainings, webinars, etc for the ministry.
  7. Develop content for broadcast, and online distribution channels.
  8. Act as co-host during ministry activities as needed.
  9. Plan and execute publicity strategies and advertisements to promote the ministry and its activities.
  10. Manage the interaction of the ministry with other ministries, media, and the public.
  11. Weekly report to the vice president.

Publicity / Media Leaders

The publicity/media leaders shall:

  1. Organize and supervise meetings in their respective departments.
  2.  Account to the media coordinator on progress and activities in their department every week.
  3. Keep all their membership list current to pass on to the next department leader.
  4. Identify needs or problems in their department and discuss with the media coordinator on ways to address them.
  5. Ensure that the department understands the vision and mission of the ministry.
  6. Report any member from the department who violates the rules and regulations of the department and the ministry.
  7. Regular check-up on members in their department.
  8. Serve as co-hosts during ministry activities as needed.

A Blissful Touch Coordinator

The ABT Coordinators shall:

  1. Coordinate and facilitate all the ministry’s hospitality arm activities.
  2. Communicate with the ABT leaders to pass on relevant information or activities to their various department.
  3. Checking up on ABT leaders for weekly regular updates.
  4. Help ABT departments grow and maintain the membership.
  5. Assist department leaders in addressing needs or problems arising.
  6. Identify and bring on board a variety of hospitality tactics and best practices to consider.
  7. Delegate responsibilities to team members.
  8. Ensure confidentiality and check-up on the member’s needs.
  9. Follow-up and encourage the people who keep to their prayer assignment.
  10. Plan and organize special events, trainings, webinars, etc for the ministry.
